SubZero Hop Kief, supplied to us by Freestyle Hops, is a cryogenic liquid dry hop that offers a more complex profile in the finished product, and helps achieve a different flavor and aroma that would not be possible with the use of regular hop pellets.

The best part about the SubZero Hop Kief is that it is extracted using a solventless method. This means no Co2, no emulsifiers, and no “incidental additives” that are in typical hop extraction methods. We want the cleanest ingredients possible for our products.

Freestyle Hops provides us with high-quality SubZero Hop Kief which is grown and processed in the high country of New Zealand. They supply us with some of the most flavorful, unique and intensely aromatic hops in the world.

  • The hops are extracted using a small volume of USP food-grade ethanol added (~33% EtOH by weight) for food safety and ease of use.
